The Top 10 Teams Right Now on Friday, April 30th.

1. Vegas Golden Knights (Last week — #2)
Ten wins in a row until tonight's loss to the Coyotes.
2. Carolina Hurricanes (Last week — #3)
The Hurricanes are so hard to beat in back-to-back games and have been all season, as evidenced by their thrashing of the Stars after an emotional OT loss the night prior.
3. Boston Bruins (Last week — #4)
Boston has been on quite the run recently, and is looking like they aren't satisfied with just being the fourth seed.
4. Colorado Avalanche (Last week — #1)
A hiccup this week with three losses to a desperate Blues team and a red hot Vegas Golden Knights club.
5. Tampa Bay Lightning (Last week — #7)
As expected, the reigning champs are back on track with a four game win streak.
6. Toronto Maple Leafs (Last week — #9)
Five in a row! Matthews is going to hit 40 on the season and the Leafs are a lock for first seed in the North,
7. Minnesota Wild (Last week — #6)
The Wild have been going on big runs this year and are heading to the playoffs led by Kirill Kaprizov, who is a lock for the Calder.
8. Florida Panthers (Last week — #8)
Seven wins in their last ten and within striking distance of the Central's first seed.
9. St. Louis Blues (Last week — Not ranked)
They are on the run at the right time. I would not want to play this team in the playoffs, especially with the recent play of Ryan O'Reilly.
10. Pittsburgh Penguins (Last week — Not ranked)
Just squeaking in ahead of Washington and Edmonton thanks to that overtime victory against the Caps. Never count Crosby out.
